Dear Joe and SIFMA Organization
I wish to express in writing about the terrific SFIMA Meeting held last Thursday with the Topic of Marketing to Tweens and Teens.
In looking at the meeting subject matter I thought to myself, "well these kids are not really my market their parents are, maybe I won't go to the event".
However, I am glad I listened to my inner voice and went to the SFIMA meeting anyway. I was taken back by the amount of quality information that these up and coming tweens and teens possess. It was truly fascinating hearing how their young minds "interact" with the marketing technology right in front of their fingertips. These young adults made up one of the best SFIMA meetings I have been to since becoming a member 3 years ago and I learned so much just listening to them. There were definite ideas I heard from this event that I could apply to my daily business world to be more successful.
This meeting lived up to the "Interactive" in SFIMA. I am so glad that I attended the meeting and thought how much I would have missed, had I not attended.
This interaction also told me that I need to clear my schedule and make sure that I attend all the SFIMA meetings so I do not miss a single one!
Thank you and the SFIMA organization for thinking outside the box and offering such a dynamic interactive marketing program.
Congratulations on a great event!
Best regards,
Laura Parke

I totally agree with Laura. The last SFIMA meeting was definitely interesting and informative. Although teens are not my main target audience, I learned a great deal from the panel of teens who volunteered some great information. And Jane Grenier did such an awesome job moderating! I love attending all the SFIMA meetings, but this one was especially enlightening! Thanks to the board for setting up great events like this. Look forward to seeing you all at Casino Night in April!
